Postseason Franchise Records is delighted to announce its first annual Preseason Report! This twelve track album is a curated selection of just a few of the exciting new sounds coming out of our Brooklyn-based record label. Featuring seven emerging artists from around the world, this compilation showcases the diversity of PFR's progressively-minded sound, unified here for the first time.
Preseason Report Vol. 1 includes tracks from PFR's The Space Wanderer, Rawley and TTilawok, and also debuts the new members to our psychedelic family.
'Cadena Verde' is a sexy IDM burner from Amigo Val, our Valencia-based Russian producer. Amigo Val's diverse sampling ability and minimalist style makes him one of the most exciting new dance producers to come out of Spain in the past year.
On the other side of Europe, meet Rado, a hip-hop and electronica producer based out of Poland. Rado's ability to warp samples to create his very own distinct soundscapes make him a very exciting addition to PFR's collection of bleepdebloopers. On 'Soulitude,' his tightly arranged composition of psychedelic fiddles and punchy drums lure you through deep space.
Take a trip south to Albania, where we are ecstatic to announce our most recent addition, Shtëpia. This dream-pop duo produce fresh new electronica that digs into sound design reminiscent of Radiohead and Björk from the early 2000's. Their tracks '2 Dhoma 1 Kuzhin' and 'Miremengjes' stand out with their crisp drums and melodic arrangements.
Finally, head down to California to check out Either / Or. Based out of Sacramento, Either / Or creates dreamy indie trip-hop with hints of a jazz influence, heard through his lo-fi vocals, drums and watery keyboard lines.
